John Kohlhepp is a Realtor and founder of the Embark Real Estate Group. He specializes in residential sales, first-time buyers, and relocation. He has a degree in Religious Studies from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) and holds a license from the National Association of Realtors license. He serves all of Columbus and the suburbs adjacent to 270. 

Before real estate, John was a pastor, bike mechanic, bike salesman, and local craft beer salesman. John’s favorite thing about working in real estate is helping his clients through the significant emotional moments of buying or selling a home. His approachability and authenticity set him apart from other real estate agents. John loves the Columbus community and its small-town feel. He enjoys attending Columbus Crew home games and the city’s many excellent restaurants and breweries. No matter what part of the city you are looking to live in, John is sure to share his favorite restaurants and parks in that area. His favorite pastimes include mountain biking, hiking, and rock climbing while spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Sapphire (pit bull) and Pepper (hound). John’s most memorable experience working in real estate involved helping a family settle their mother’s estate quickly and fairly.

Upcoming adventures include a trip to Spain for the Camino de Santiago experience, with 500 miles of walking from Bordeaux, France, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
